You are ready for ministry? check these 5 qualifications:

5 important steps in ministry training:

1. Count the cost

Luk. 14, 27-29. If you dont see you self as dead – you can not follow Christ. If you are not sold out for his ministry – you will fall.

2. Live by faith

Faith is like gravity. You cant live without it and you hurt yourself badly if you dont understand it. It is a law to live by. Rom. 1. 17

3. Be loved and love

It al started with love and will end with love. God is love. UNDERSTAND: You are his love to the world! Heaven on earth is love manifested. In the Kingdom – everything is motivated by love. 1. Joh. 4, 16-17

4. Brace yourself with discipline

You will go no where if you dont get out of bed and take up your cross. Everyday starts and ends at the cross. Then let the Holy Spirit be your helper and enabler during the day.

5. Knowing Jesus/God

You can read al the books in the world about Jesus and still not know him. You must have a desire to experience his grace. He is your king. Knowing him is knowing our Father the offspring of love, joy and peace. 2. pet. 3, 18

Qualifications explained

  1. Count the cost. “If you don’t see yourself as fired, you cannot be a good trustee at your work” This was the message my friend got on a union course. This is the same as our lord has said to us. You cannot be afraid of death or any consequence when you are in his business. You must se yourself as dead already! Then you can live for him without fear. This must be done daily. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Gal. 2, 20
  2. Live by faith. Faith is the activating factor in the Kingdom, so you will get nowhere without faith. Christianity is not based on theory, but experience and power. Without faith, nothing will happen from Heaven. You must have a desire to grow your faith and be dependent on God in life. No tongues, no miracles, no healings, no gifts, no fruits, no nothing without faith. The good thing about faith is that it is free and instant working and a part of our strong armor.
  3. Love. The motivation of everything in the Kingdom. When God made you, He created you in love and admiration. You are made in love, saved because of love and sent to the world in love. Love is not selfish and seeks its own, but when you are full of love, you MUST love others. You are seeking people to love. this is experienced by the Holy Spirit. Love conquers everything. We win over evil with goodness. Never must we use the weapons of the enemy and curse things, situations, people and country. To hate or despise is a loosing game and you will be defeated. Love is a world-changer. Watch what you love in life: Music, art, tv, sport. What you love will change you! Thats why we MUST love God first, best and most by far!
  4. Discipline. Very close to “disciple”, and one of the harder words in our comfort driven world to grasp. But every glories fruit in the world comes from a seed that had to go in the dark ground and die for it to be glorified. Discipline has to be applied to se Gods glories fruits in you. If you master discipline you can go far in life and unleash Gods potential for the world to se. Discipline is an everyday thing. Habits are created over time and is grown from discipline. The good thing is that when discipline becomes a habit, it becomes easy and a part of your backbone in life. Phil. 2, 12
  5. Knowing. The word that the Bible uses to explain our relationship with God and Jesus, is “ginōskō” – is to have experiential knowledge of…Well,God knows you. But do you know God? Definition of relationships are that two parties both know each other. With God this experiential relationship can not happen without the Holy Spirit. Are you full of the Spirit? Do you have experiences with God in the Spirit? Do you speak in tongues? Worship in the Spirit like Paul in the Bible? The desire to meet Jesus and be touched by God must be in you. God is the author of al blessings. You want to know him and hear his voice. Joh. 17, 3 : And this is life eternal, that they might know G1097 thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
